Design and Study of a Sampler for Collecting Oil and Grease Samples in Water

Abstract:Owing to the uneven distribution of oil and grease in water.the focus of environmental monitoring has been on how to improve devices for collecting oil and grease in water.On the basis of the concept of the ideal(or imaginary)water columncreated in this paper a portable sampler for collecting oil and grease in water is designed and produced.which has found its wide application(collecting industrial wastewater.domestic sewage and polluted surface water) in environmental monitoring.The sampler is characterized by an open-and-close bottom and a built-in sampling bottle(including a bottom-lined cover and a bottom cover)that is connected to a threaded inner pull rod and a threaded outer casing tube.An oil-contained water column with a fixed area can be easily collected by moving the rod and the tube.lt is easy to assemble and disassemble and transport the sampling bottle,which can be directly used as an operating bottle in the laboratory.The calculated values nearly reflected the real state.The National Patent for an invention obtained on Dec.30.1992.No.of the Patent:89102471.9.No.of the Certificate:16381.

Derun Houtian is a full-automatic portable special collection tool for oil sample analysis. It fully meets the requirement that the collection of oil samples in water cannot be transferred twice as proposed in the "Water and Wastewater Monitoring and Analysis Method" (Fourth Edition Supplement).

The water oil sampler is made of stainless steel, with high strength and no rust. The power supply battery can be replaced, rechargeable, easy to carry and easy to operate. The sampling container is made of glass material with excellent sealing performance and is not dissolved by extraction reagents. When sampling, a section of water column can be directly collected, and the water sample is more representative. After the sampling is completed, the glass container can be directly sent to the laboratory for extraction, eliminating the secondary transfer of the sample.

DR-801C water oil sampler is widely used in industrial wastewater, domestic sewage, surface water, marine environment monitoring and other fields. It can collect representative water oil samples, which is the key technology of the whole oil project analysis process and improves the representativeness and accuracy of oil monitoring data.
