However, it is necessary to comprehensively assess the oil concentration in the environmental water body. There is also a need for ecological environment management. What is the oil concentration in West Lake? What is the oil concentration in the lean West Lake? What to do? Never say how many mg/l oil film, how many mg/l dissolved oil, the same pollution factor in a water system seems inappropriate. The necessity of "full-layer water column intercepting collection" is discussed.

For example, we need to monitor the concentration of oil in the water of West Lake.
